Normally, I don't waste my time on "dark arts" of this nature simply because they all look the same. However, even I, with my very picky and discerning taste, cannot ignore how incredibly beautiful and well done this piece is. Not only have you pushed the boundaries by creating a seemless image, you've made a non-believer like me into a believer.

Let's start off with the scene itself. It truly feels like every aspect of this piece was taken into consideration: the model, the background, the view through the window, the cobwebs, the chains, etc. The chains are probably one of the best parts of this piece. They really look as if they are following the flow of the dress; the lighting is absolutely spot on.

Funnily enough, I just now noticed that the floor is checkerboard, and normally that would bother me. It seems most people use a checkerboard floor in pieces where it simply does not correlate well enough with the overall concept. In this work, however, that floor is perfect. It is soft and subtle enough to indicate that it actually belongs there, like this was photographed on location.

Overall, I'd say you deserve every accolade you get for this piece. While there may be some out there who will disagree with me, I think this is one of the best dark art pieces I've seen on dA. Bravo. <3
